Growth

Another way we can say transform is growth. Outwardly as well as internally, humans as well as animals grow and change over time. We rarely stay the same; we all have dreams and goals to accomplish in our lifetime. The means we use to achieve those goals are usually education, without an education, achieving our goals is nearly impossible to achieve.
Take for example a butterfly, usually begin as an ugly worm, through time and evolution that same ugly larvae spins a silky cocoon and soon after it emerges as a beautiful butterfly, this is the perfect example of transformation. We all grow everyday of our lives, as long as we live and breathe we will go under several transformations. As the world changes, technology evolve we all have to grow or be left behind and no one wants to be left behind, therefore we must continue to learn and grow.
One of the most significant forms of transformation is the ability to live in another culture and surviving, America is a prime example of this. Many foreigners came to the United States, without knowing the language or the culture, as time progresses these people slowly learn the language and soon the culture itself. Coming from a Haiti, I had to learn the language and the culture of America prior to coming to America, my parents prepared us to be able to face the many different struggles we would be facing, because he himself went through those exact challenges, which helped us out a lot.
One of the greatest and hardest things for a person to do is to look at his or herself and reinvent themselves. Reinventing oneself is the hardest thing for a person to do, is because of the comfort zone aspect, once a person gets comfortable, it is harder for them to try anything else, even if their comfort zone is a bad zone to be in. Case in point, a drug addict knows that what they are doing is not good for them but they are comfortable doing it, making changes would hinder their comfort zone and they are not willing to try and make that change even if they know it’s the best thing for them.
Change and growth are inevitable in life; the problem is we willing to make the changes for good or bad? As usual the choice is up to the individual.
